Education Innovation Rally 2025

I am the principal of Sonora Elementary in Springdale, Arkansas. We just finished our inaugural year! Prior to that I was principal for 9 years at Lee Elementary School - in the same district. I have also served as a teacher and administrator in Bentonville, Arkansas & Glendale, California. Yet, imam a Northwest Arkansas native. I have taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade. I served as an assistant principal for 5 years, both in AR & CA. In 2011 I was honored by being chosen as the Arkansas Elementary Principal of the Year, followed by being named as a National Distinguished Principal. This year, I was recognized as the Arkansas Parent Teacher Association of Arkansas' Adminitrator of the Year.



I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, who is also a teacher. We have two beautiful & sweet daughters, Peyton & Cassidy. They teach me the most! I am honored to be their mother!
