About me
Brandon Lucius is the executive director of the Arkansas Teacher Corps, a program of the University of Arkansas that recruits, trains, and supports new teachers to serve in high-need schools in the Arkansas Delta. As an academic and practitioner, Brandon has coached and developed hundreds of early career teachers, reaching thousands of students across the state of Arkansas. His team was named the University of Arkansas 2021 Outstanding Staff Team for their success with virtual coaching, retention, and teacher growth during Covid-19. Prior to his time with Arkansas Teacher Corps, Brandon taught biology in Helena-West Helena and Algebra I in Osceola. He holds an Ed.S. in educational leadership from the University of Arkansas, an M.Ed. in educational leadership from Arkansas Tech University, and a B.A. in environmental economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
